Welcome to the Blueprint Project.
Our Premise: That the New Testament of the Bible, unchanged for 2,000 years, presents a true blueprint on how to live a good life. And that even though the new testament is foundational in the Christian religions, many of the verses can be abstracted without a reference to a particular religion. And when they are abstracted in that way, they become a wonderful instruction set that all people in all countries can adopt and agree on.
The project is intended to be a compilation of the favorite or most important verses as contributed by religious scholars across all religions.
It is a completely new approach to understanding some of the most instructive verses of the bible – without reference to any particular religious dogma. They are indicative of the core beliefs across many of the world’s religions. Beliefs that really represent the “blueprint” to living a good life – and that can illustrate how all people are more alike than different. It’s why we call this the Blueprint Project.
We are looking only at those verses that contain timeless ideas on how to live a good life.
The beliefs that we share as humans, irrespective of which religion we adhere to.
The beliefs that can minimize the differences between cultures and peoples around the globe. With the ultimate goal being to create a book that contains not just a blueprint for successful lives, but that illustrates just how similar we all are as people. A blueprint that focuses on our shared goals and not our differences. It is my belief that the New Testament of the Bible contains a vast resource of clues on how to live a good life. And that those clues really do not depend on being a Christian to be understood or to be useful. It is based on Bible verses, but verses that are not overtly Christian, so that a member of any faith could understand them as an important guide to life. The Blueprint Project will be creating a new easy-to-understand, highly readable book. Which can be widely distributed to people of any religion.
